Actually, it’s a converse fallacy of accident with an affirmation of the consequent, in addition to being a non sequitur.

But I’m sure the HSUS would heartily approve.

Get a little kitty cat

No, a government goon might get a scratch on him. The government better seize that predatory animal as well. ;-)

A pit bull does not equal a lion and expanding government powers does not equal common sense.

What all should *really* fear:

[Muzzies are terrified of 'em so it *could* work]...;]

Common sense has nothing to do with his statement.

What *were* you thinking?

;D

If muzzie Congressman Keith Elison sends his goons, it should work out fine. ;-)

I’m called Salamander and I have a dog named Djinn.

He won’t come anywhere near my place.

Most Pitt Bulls are dangerous ... starting with the insecure, violent prone people who own them ...

Owning a Pitt Bull (in a city or neighborhood) is no different than keeping a yard full of "peaceful" cobras, pythons, and water water mocassins around ...

Or for that matter ... being a Liberal LOON that wants to reintroduce "peaceful wolves" back into the Northwest ...

Want a good, loyal, protective dog ?

No problem ...

But for all you "conservative" Pitt Bull owners ... who parade your dangerous, unpredictable, violent animals up and down the public (peaceful) neighborhood sreets ...

A "pox on your house" ... with napalm and extreme prejudice ...

Otherwise, I hope that someone just shoots the Pitt Bulls "on sight" ... before they kill an INNOCENT child ...

Any questions ?

Most Dobermans and Pitt Bulls are dangerous ...

Why ?

STARTING with the insecure, violent prone people who own them ... PROBABLY LIKE YOU, "sir" ...

We have a few down the street who have them and usually keep them off leash. As a result we don’t walk much thru the neighborhood much.

A "pox on your house" ... with napalm and extreme prejudice ...

So, you wanna napalm my family...to keep my kids safe?

Otherwise, I hope that someone just shoots the Pitt Bulls "on sight" ... before they kill an INNOCENT child ...

What's the over/under on how long that's going to take? Because we've had this guy since 2007 and he's just not eating the kids like he's supposed to...Not even when I made it easy for him.

He has, however, scared away countless bums, grafitti artists and people selling frozen steaks out the back of their trucks...

Hey stoopid...you posted that "personal message" publicly.....:)

And don't call me "sir".

As for the rest of your bargain basement histrionics, I can only offer this advice:

Don't smoke crack while posting.....:D

"Patton-at-Bastogne (Free Republic member since 1996)"?

BFD. "Age" doesn't always equal wisdom.

For instance, you apparently haven't figured out the "private reply" button, yet.

"Any questions ?"

Yes.

Are you having your period?

Hey...how come you got a public message and mine was a publicly posted private carbon-copy message?

“A “pox on your house” ... with napalm and extreme prejudice”

Oh, my.

That sounds like a personal threat, to me.

"Any questions?"

Nope.

With statements like -

"Most Pitt Bulls are dangerous ... starting with the insecure, violent prone people who own them ...

Owning a Pitt Bull (in a city or neighborhood) is no different than keeping a yard full of "peaceful" cobras, pythons, and water water mocassins around ...

- You've made your ignorance on the subject and probable intractability to logic quite apparent. It is highly doubtful that you will let any facts get in the way of your preconceived notions. Further -

A "pox on your house" ... with napalm and extreme prejudice ...

- By your liberal use of (assumed) hyperbole you have rendered your own argument a reductio ad absurdum. But just for the sake of addressing your penchant for military metaphor, consider the most decorated military War Dog of all time, Sgt Stubby, an American Pit Bull Terrier.

My savage, blood thirsty beast is a support dog.

[of course, he did kill 4 examiners before he passed his final test but what the hell...bit happens]

Now stop being so violent, insecure and liberal.

You and your wolf spreading programs are making me sick.

:-P
