I found it a bit disturbing that China’s growing military presence, especially their Navy, wasn’t even mentioned in the CNN GOP debate, still clinging to the concept that the only threat we face is “non-linear” warfare against small groups of insurgents and terrorists cells.
If they start dredging out that way, maybe they’ll find my original dogtags and my high school class ring. I lost them in a big wave in Lingayen Gulf, about 50 years ago.
