Do you support the decision to release the oil?
No. That oil is for a real emergency.
Maybe. I know many people have been hit hard by rising gas prices but they were already starting to come down.
Yes. This will help a lot of folks this summer . Other (post a comment).

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
It was like years ago in the old USSR when the government, concerned the people were upset there was no beef in the stores, killed off practically all the cattle including cows. Sure, there was meat in the markets galore but after about a year, no more meat. The strategic reserve I thought was for military use. When it’s gone, then what? The Democrats are destroying America.
Thank you for voting!

We should use that oil to invade Saudi Arabia.
I wish they gave the option to stop the crazy war in Libya.
Howzabout lifting the drilling moratoriums in the gulf and ANWR instead, Big Ears???????
“The strategic reserve I thought was for military use. When its gone, then what? The Democrats are destroying America.”
Yes to the last sentence. Our SR’s were up to a record level, so of course, they (Obama et al) must reduce it! And Stephen Choo, BHO’s energy boy weighing in on the “supply crisis”, is the one who said awhile back that our gas prices need to be raised to those in Europe.
Folks, we have an evil, deadly traitor in the white house who has appointed many other evil, deadly traitors and is supported by myriads of evil, deadly radicals, marxists and progressives.
We need to remember this when we’re all fighting about the Repub playing field of candidates. NOT ONE of them comes close (even if they tried) to the level of evil that currently persecutes this country. (I’ll leave Huntsman out of the group of contenders, because he has no business being in it).
How about Drill Baby Drill and Refine Baby Refine. Sheesh.
Ø just trying to score some political points with the peeps even though most of them take the bus. Gasoline will go down a little bit for a very little while.
Do I support propping up Hussain’s sagging poll numbers?
Which is what this is all about.

Maybe. I know many people have been hit hard by rising gas prices but they were already starting to come down, so I’m not capable of making that decision — above my pay grade.

Yes. This will help a lot of folks this summer. In fact, we should completely wipe out the strategic oil reserve. It’s not doing any good just sitting there.

The US, on average, uses approximately 20 million barrels of oil a day so, using my 4th grade math proficiency, 30M barrels equals 1 1/2 days worth of U.S. oil consumption.

The news said it was 60 million total barrels between us and others. So, the admnistration has to buy oil to replenish the reserve at whatever the market price is .
*ding ding ding* I think we have a winner!
