Media's Whitewashing of Michael Jackson

Two years ago yesterday, Michael Jackson died of an apparent drug overdose. Since his death, Jackson's record sales have skyrocketed. He's one of the highest earning deceased celebrities of all time (surpassing both John Lennon and Elvis). There are constant tributes to him and awards named in his honor. In short, Michael Jackson has become a legend.

But whatever happened to his accusers--the ones the media now pretends never existed? Well, their lives have been difficult, to say the least. The most recent boy to come forward was forced to change his name and move to a different state, but he still finds himself constantly harassed by Jackson devotees and tabloid reporters. The first boy, the one from 1993, received death threats throughout his childhood, someone attempted to run him over with their car, and after years of hiding, he's said to have become a shut in. While fans and the mainstream media mourn the loss of their "legend", they do everything they can to destroy the lives of his alleged victims.

I found a documentary about Jackson's first victim that I would like to share with anyone interested. It contains an interview with the boy's uncle and excerpts from his session with a psychiatrist.

I will always wonder about Jackson's "children". I can't see any evidence of a genetic relationship.

It appears that he was allowed to buy children without any investigation into his suitability as a parent.

I think that’s why he didn’t go the adoption route where there is all sorts of screening in place. Michael got around the scrutiny by getting some sperm and having his friend, Debbie Rowe, inseminated with it. Rowe even remarked once that she was “just a vessel” and admitted that her marriage to Michael was a sham.

There were reports that Michael’s sons had horribly rotted teeth from eating candy all day and never brushing. What a superb dad, huh?

The chances of those kids having normal lives is slim to none.

Yesterday some fool spent $1.8 million on Jackson's Thriller jacket, which was over 4 times the estimate. I actually think the longer that he's dead, the bigger he'll become. It seems like a lot of the public has already forgotten or downplayed Michael's boy-loving habits. But really, I don't care if throngs of morons want to idolize a dead pervert, it just makes me so sad that his victims are constant targets of hate and violence. Celebrity worship can make people into absolute monsters!

With the victims part, I fully understand. They are fixated with making saints out of their own.
