Actually states like Illinois, Ohio, California and New York need to be detroyed in order to be saved. lLet them learn the hard way. In the mean time we will have more jobs in Georgia.
First, the additional costs will be passed along to the customer. Businesses have no other choice.
Next, domestic businesses become less competitive with foreign companies.
In the face of such competition, domestic businesses lay off workers to cut costs
401k's containing investments in domestic companies decline in value.
As the businesses fail or simply fo less business, tax revenues from these companies decline shifting the burden back onto individuals.
