I have only run ~50 rounds thru mine, so I cannot comment on long-term reliability.

nope. just the regular .223, 52 or 55gr bullets.
I’ve shot a couple thousand rounds through it though, and that’s been the only complaint. cost is about $15 and takes about 5 minutes to fix it.
