No one is ever prepared for the heat in Texas. I’m from Colorado, and when I moved here in ‘94, none of our cars had AC. It’s an unnecessary option in CO. Not so much here.
We here in Long Island have AC everywhere for our summer times.
Home, car, work, stores, etc. It gets very hot and humid here so we are all prepared.
Even this native Texan finds the Texas heat oppresive and unbearable. I say with all sincerity: God Bless Air Conditioning!
