I hereby nominate your post as "Dumbest post of the week" on FR.
Your ignorance and your thin skinned churlishness is showing.......
You must be making some sort of joke.
Pissant in drag without the class.......
:-)
It appears as though she's a chip off the old block, in that way. Perhaps one day she'll become a real asset to the conservative cause.
Watching this, I think she'll do fine. She made them all look like the harpies they are just by showing up.
I loved it, I really did, and normally I've been fairly critical of what she's done.
wtc900 needs to go take his/her head out of his/her rear end and come up for air. It's just not healthy in there........
Negative, how? I read her book, so I feel like I can comment. Bristol simply wrote of an anecdote that, if true, illustrates the vast difference between the culture of the two families. Cindy(sic?) McCain was probably heartfelt in her desire to be close to the Palins, not realizing the strength of familial ties that Bristol and the other Palin children have with their immediate family. No harm, no foul, unless the reader is determined to read between the lines and interject a personal narrative. By the way, it was a great read.
I read her book, and I think that her story rings true. She obviously has the same heart that her mother has, but maybe a little less tame. It reads like a Jane Austen novel at times, with Levi worming his way back into her life constantly, and Bristol thinking hopefully that she can somehow give Tripp her dad and keep him from the stigma of a broken home. Two things make that impossible, Levi is a mouthbreather, and he has the moral compass of a viper. Bristol is a good kid, and her story is one that every teenaged girl needs to read.
Obviously you have never sinned. The Lord looks down at the prodigal child, and rejoices my friend. Bristol tellingly refers to herself in that fashion in her book. She is not a navel-gazer, but she is introspective and pious enough to know that experience is how we learn, and having learned we either teach, or allow those that follow to walk blindly into the abyss. I have read the book by way, so I have a little perspective here.
Check her posting history, she is a retread troll that signed up today.
Everything that helps Americans get familiar with the future first family is worth highlighting, IMHO.
They really seemed to like her on ‘The View’. America's brain trust.
Yep, she explains how she lost her virginity one night, only because she was drunk, then she figured it was OK to to keep on doing it because she had already ‘broke her moral code’. But now she wont do it anymore until she is married, this huge change back to her repaired ‘moral code’ seems to appeared back in 2008-2009. Anything special happen then?
Megan McCain was missing, that would have been great entertainment to see them together again.
>>> Palins do not come from first-class riding, stylist-hiring lifestyle, the way the McCains do.
The inferiority complex displayed in that line is pathetic. Class warfare and jealousy like something from an Edwards rally.
And btw, you DO know that the Palins often ride around in luxurious private jets, stay in four-star accommodations, etc. Don’t you ? And why should they not.
>>> Having Bristol go on The View is BRILLIANT
Well if The View is BRILLIANT enough for Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper to pimp their shows and personal appearances I guess it’s ok too for Bristol. Four dimensional chess. Maybe even five dimensional.
>>> If the Sarah Palin will be running for prez, Bristol needs to be reined in, and stop flapping her gums and going on these ridiculous television shows. I want a serious president, not some pop culture clown with a poorly behaved family. I call this welfare recipient TV
Sometimes people stay home with a cold too. That’s how I caught Whoopie’s “rape rape” faux pas. And don’t forget to catch Bristol’s new reality show, coming soon.
You missed on every account, when are you guys going to get some self respect and realize that posting childish stuff and bizarre interpretations of things that we all know, only makes you look like immature losers, not like serious people.
More civil than some on FR?
You make some good points, but it’s pretty much standard now for readings that you have to buy the book. Otherwise, 1) People buy it on Amazon and bring it, which is not cool for the business that sponsored the reading. 2) People bring old books, napkins, everything you can think, but don’t buy the book. That’s what it’s all about, selling the book.
