I thought they were 12th and 13 cousins from a common ancestor. That doesn’t count, I guess.

Technically, there's no such thing as a
princess."Dignities and high sounding names have different effects on different beholders. The lustre of the Star and the title of My Lord, over-awe the superstitious vulgar, and forbid them to inquire into the character of the possessor: Nay more, they are, as it were, bewitched to admire in "the great," the vices they would honestly condemn in themselves. This sacrifice of common sense is the certain badge which distinguishes slavery from freedom; for when men yield up the privilege of thinking, the last shadow of liberty quits the horizon.

She’s a beautiful young lady who married a handsome young prince. For fairy tales and the little girls who read them, that’s close enough.

Long ago people thought royalty had a healing touch—in this case I hope the myth is true.

*Have a tissue handy for the last photo, which is the letter that Diamond wrote to Kate.
This. I honestly don't care about this royal couple, but when you learn what this little girl has gone through it's time to take a break from cynicism, snark, criticism of Kate, William, monarchy, etc. and simply appreciate the special moment and offer a prayer for the little girl.

We must think everyone is cheering for that little girl.

Kate’s more of a princess than Charles is a prince. And Kate wears heels while Charles IS a heel.

Diana had the title “princess” as the wife of Charles, the Prince of Wales. Her title was The Princess of Wales. It had nothing to do with her bliid, only with her marriage. She was.NEVER “Princess Diana”, even though the media dubbed her Princess Di.

Kate looks wonderful in her beautiful gown for the formal event in America this evening.
Our celebrities looked like over dressed street walkers.

That long, flowy white dress was nice, but this one is beautiful
