You think Casey confessed to members of her family and it was all an act? I am surprised the cops didn’t pick up about the names of the neighbors. I am sure they knew everyone in the neighborhood. I have a hard time believing George being a part of this. His being a former cop would know how to hide a body better than that. Especially when the EquiSearch man said George told his best friend and cop from Ohio Casey knows what happened and dragged her out of her room demanding she tell the guy where to search. If Casey did drown; it probably wasn’t accidental. I heard that someone spotted who looked like Casey coming out the area Caylee was found.

I never said George hid the body.

I think Casey told Lee fairly early on the truth. Go back and read what he said to Casey (obviously her) at Caylee's "memorial service." The last thing Lee said is he would keep her secret. People argue all the time that that could have meant Caylee but exactly what kind of deep dark secret does a 2 year old have? That she ate her crayons? He was promising Casey he would keep Casey's secret.

Lee's whole speech at the service is creepy and you can read it here and it was analyzed on this blog as well:

As for George knowing how to better hide the remains, NONE of the family knew about this until some time after the fact. I believe the day that George came around her car looking for his gas cans was the day she got spooked because Caylee's body was in the trunk and that is when she high tailed it over to Suburban Drive and dumped the remains.

This was some time before...maybe even weeks before...the big fall out on July 15th with the 911 calls. It was only after the 911 calls that I think Lee learned from Casey what really happened to Caylee and then he told the parents. In any event I believe that all 3 of the other Anthony's knew Caylee was dead by August of 2011.

Unfortunately for Casey and crew, I think she just went in a little ways on Suburban Drive and threw that decomposing bag as far as she could and I think there was already considerable standing water in there. So Casey could not adequately describe exactly where the remains fell to Lee later. Then Tropical Storm Faye went through and probably caused the remains in the bags to float a bit and come to rest later in a slightly different area. Casey would have no way of knowing that to tell Lee to look there.

You are free to keep your high opinion of George but I do not share them. He pushed his father through a plate glass window, he fell for a Nigerian email scam, he stole money from Cindy's 401k (a lot of $), he has a gambling problem. This man may not have molested his daughter, I don't know that, but he has plenty of strikes against his character without having done that.

As for cops. My grandpa was a policeman for 37 years in a major city. Police often protect their families when one of them has committed a crime. My grandpa did it for my uncle (his son) numerous times and some of those crimes were fairly serious although not as serious as murder. It happens.

I think the Anthony's are less a family than something of a weird cult like group. The 4 of them are almost like 1 entity. They will go to the mat for one another even as they fight and scream and hate each other. I can't explain it but I see it just the same.
