Mitch McConnell urges tea partiers: It's time to create a third party

Posted on 07/12/2011 2:14:30 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

This is what progressives do. Grow power in the executive, at the expense of other branches.

Once again, you have the republican establishment snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory and putting defeat right back front and center. It's time to light up McConnell's office, no matter what part of the country you're from. One of the headlines regarding what McConnell just said is this:

McConnell Proposal Gives Obama Power to Increase Debt Limit

And that's exactly the kind of thing that's going to get tea partiers to form a third party. That's the last thing we need. And people think I'm kidding when I say that we're gonna have to defeat republicans before we can challenge Obama. Good grief

Now, the last thing I want is a third party. That guarantees Obama's re-election.

The thing is, McConnell has to know this too. But he said it anyways! I'm so aggrevated, I don't even know if I typed everything correctly here.

Can we field a tea party challenger to McConnell? Can we urge his removal? I tried calling his office and the lines are lit, thankfully.

That's my proposal: Defeat McConnell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't afford this nonsense.

This compromise could re-elect Obama too.

Standing firm was a certain victory for the GOP and the RINO’s do not want a GOP victory

Every republican presidential candidate needs to stand against this stupid McConnell plan. It is intended sabotage of conservatives, a la McCain.

I know. This is hot off of the heels of what Rush said just the other day, which is why it was on my mind.

These republicans are determined to become losers.

“...the RINO’s do not want a GOP victory.”

Right on the mark. The RINO’s stand with their squeeze on the Left. It suits their comfortable lifestyles to be taken care of by their RAT lovers.

As the criminal, radical Left hijacked the Democrat Party, they have infiltrated with intent the GOP leadership. We have to get rid of the RATS in the GOP, the RINO’s as they are called. McConnell is one of them along with McCain, Graham, and others we all know.

The Ruling Class chose Obama in 2008. Why are you surprised they chose him again in 2012?

Re-electing RINOS would be just as damaging as a Third Party.

Uh oh. McConnell is in self-preservation mode. He must also think Palin or another real conservative can win and push him to the sidelines.

What a stupid thing for him to say. Does he actually think that’s a good idea as opposed to a sure-fire way of getting Obama reelected? Maybe he secretly wants Obama reelected.

>>These republicans are determined to become losers.

Economy-wise, the wheels are coming off the bus. There is no stopping it now. The GOP has transferred as much wealth to the ultra-wealthy as the people will allow, and the Democrats have cemented in place 100 Million unemployable welfare recipients to use as easily-manipulated shock troops when the working class refuses to pay anymore (or to work for next to nothing compared to what the welfare class gets for just breathing).

I don’t think either party wants to be in charge during the transition period to a “planned” economy that robs us of our freedom and way of life because they’re still running on the old paradigm that says that you can beat the party in charge during bad economic times. These bad times will laast a generation or more. Each party is positioning itself to be in charge after we all become slaves to unholy government/corporatist alliance. It really won’t matter which one wins at that point because there won’t be hardly any difference from our perspective.

The real solution is clearly outlined in the DOI!
Our first constitution had no president, no congress, no supreme court—the things we have had the sole problems with—each state (country)then, and its people, would be free to form another union, remain independent, etc.

But that would be too simple for such a diversified society...

We need some radio and TV spots urging McConnell’s defeat.

We need to get them started right away to put fear into other RINOs.

The DC establishment wants a fringe right wing party to split the 2010 voters into center and right. That guarantees perpetual socialism, which is guaranteed anyway.

Re-elect Obama and we might get a revolution, or at least widespread civil disobedience from the productive citizens.

Elect a RINO and the conservative tension ratchets down a few notches and we go back to the slow slide into marxism with the people pretending they are prosperous through credit.

If the GOP forces us to choose between a RINO and Obama, then what is our choice?

I hear you. The choice would be about the same as the one we had in 2008.

What would Patton do? He would form a 3rd Party and put everything available, All resources in to a full attack to take the White House and Executive Branch. Forget the House and Senate. Taking the Executive Branch in 2012 is the fastest route and only route to Victory. Once the White House is back in American hands the powers could be used to attack the criminal enterprise that is Washington DC. AG Sherrif Joe sounds good for a start.
