Ice ages start like this. When the snow doesn't melt over the summer, it will be all that much harder to melt next summer. What you then have is an expanding snow base that grows each year. Eventually, as has happened before, most of North America will lie under an ice sheet a mile thick. This is the way it has been before and this is the way it shall be again. Global warming nuts be damned. We have "climate change" alright, just not the type the Algore crowd have been prattling on about. The climate has always been changing - ice ages have been coming and going well before humans and their automobiles ever came on the scene.

That said, don't panic. None of us will be alive to see the next ice age in full swing. These cycles take thousands of years. Our descendents will have plenty of time to build igloos.
