The rest of the story: A Polk County school bus monitor is accused of forcing two teenage runaways to work as prostitutes in his home and to have sex with customers who included a Haines City police officer.

Guess Grady Judd's heavy emphasis on targeting sexual predators (sometimes deemed grandstanding) caught a few more "home grown" perverts operating around here...

Local cops in Virgina, got caught getting young high school girls drunk and heaving sex with them a few years back. Probably goes on wherever cops are allowed around high schools.

Regarding your comment “Hard to believe a cop participated”

You, along with many other FReepers, myself included, need to really start “believing” exactly how deep and pervasive is the corruption rotting our society from within.

What do we expect “our children” to do, when it it clear they can not trust the adults who are paid to protect them?

I agree it it a sick situation.

Why isn’t the cop charged with at least statutory rape?

“Probably goes on wherever cops are allowed around high schools.”

Thanks to generations of Liberalism, such behavior is commonplace in the schools, cops or no. I argue less with most cops, as most are not going to allow ‘copsuckers’ to perform around them.

That such acts occurred says much about the individuals involved. Both are examples of societal devolution.

“Why isn’t the cop charged with at least statutory rape?”

Great question! Maybe his union had a say in what charges were brought....

I don’t know that he is not also charged with statutory rape, amongst the charges pending against him.

I posted the information made available via a local newspaper.

Based solely on the information available now, this particular cop was arrested and charged, based on an active police investigation of a tip against the school bus monitor/pimp/sexual predator.

Waiting for the law enforcement apologists to show up and tell us there must be more to this story and that we don’t have all the facts that allow us to pass judgment.

"Hard to believe a cop participated."

Around my neck of the woods, we began getting a different kind of cop once forced hiring and loosening of restrictions against past criminal records came into being.

Began with "minor criminal record" to "felony record" being acceptable, then when testing and physical fitness got tossed out the window - whew do we have some "interesting individuals" as the local cops on the beat.

(I should preface all of that with, on our eastern side of the state line - Missou-rah!)

In Wichita Falls, TX we recently had a cop going (according to DPS investigation) at least 80 mph in a 45 mph zone.
He broadsided and killed two teenage girls. One was 8 months pregnant.
The DA was elected in large part because of the local police support.
He was evidently taking two prescription drugs at the time of the crash.
Depending on blood results he may be charged with up to three counts of intoxication manslaughter.
People around here are pissed at this cop.
Also, in a small town around here (I’m not going to mention the name), local cops have been routinely arresting people (that they don’t like of course) for refusing to consent to a search. The charge? Resisting search/arrest.
They are going to get sued when it happens to one of my clients.

Having had enough experiences with cops and DAs, The endorsement of a DA candidate by the cops would be just about enough to get me to vote for his opponent.

No Joke ...they actually made this cop chief of the Key West Police Department

It’s Okay For a Cop (the New Key West Police Chief) To Have sex With a Minor (17 yr old boy) in a patrol car and at his home

.

This Attorney after having been convicted for three nickels with mandatory jail time is given community service to work on land development deals for the city and county .... precisely what he was convicted of feloniously doing for his clients

Convicted on FBI Tapes @ Nudist Bar, Key West Bag Man Gets Only Probation From Retiring Judge
