Among GOP “leaders” is this prevailing mindset that surrendering to Obama will somehow spare Republicans the blame. My question is .. blame for WHAT? With that new level of power, 0bama will call the shots as to what`ll get the brunt of the cuts. He`ll direct the cuts at DOD. And as for who profits politically, it`ll be 0bama hands down. He`ll be seen as the savior who rescued America from default.

If the Gaggle Of Puffballs acquiesces, as it probably will, it`s game-set-match for 0bama. It must be nice to have as your opponent someone whose natural responses are submission and surrender.

And I believe 0bama has known the outcome of this from the start.

Our Forefathers didn't play the blame game - they owned up to it - with their lives.

But what about us? As our representatives sell us down the river, what do we do? Comply and complain?

What is the consequence for the GOP'ers who sell us out? Re-election? I know my congressman got re-elected after the bailout, because the person who was running against him was way worse.

They don't care and we won't rise against them. Because, well, we are just too civilized.
