Did Soros fund the attorneys in the Kenneth Gladney trial?

Posted on 07/20/2011 6:35:56 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

I was talking to someone about the travesty of Gladney's trial, when the thought occurred to me:

I can't find ANY information about some of the details of the case. I'm sure I'm just asking the search engine the wrong questions, but is there anybody around here who followed that case closely?

Whenever I see blackouts of information like this, I get suspicious.

Who were those lawyers who helped defend the thugs that beat up Gladney? We should look into it.

The attacker’s lead attorney was Paul D’Agrosa. I’ll see what I can find.

We ought to have a “lost story” section. Like, who ran into that Amtrak in the middle of day and killed more than six people? Did we ever even get the name of the guy who drove the semi into a passenger train that runs maybe once a day on that track?

Why isn’t Gladney suing? Assault is an Intentional Tort—and he could get damages from SEIU.

I read that the prosecutor is a rabid Left democrat.

But I’m sure he put politics aside for this obvious assault on those poor 250 pound union guys by a 140 pound black man.

Poor guys are lucky to still have a shine on their shoes after Gladney threw his face repeatedly against them.

It is interesting to see who else he represented-

http://www.stltoday.com/news/article_2c75a53b-f178-54b9-a6c6-8b400b7e7616.html

...In describing the life of the former Democratic campaign consultant, assistant U.S. attorney Michael Reap said: "The facade of Milton Ohlsen is nothing but fraud and deception...."...In a statement to the judge, Ohlsen made reference to his political work, telling Judge Autrey that had the 2004 presidential election gone differently, his former drug charge might have been vacated. "Had (John) Kerry beaten Bush in 2004, I had an excellent chance of getting a pardon," said Ohlsen, who was led away in shackles. ...

How did you find that information?

The SEIU union paid for the lawyers. I imagine they have enough money that they would not have to go to Soros directly.

There were indications they also paid HuffPo to help them manipulate both the media and exert political pressure, and Media Matters (Soros) was also very active in trying to refocus the blame from these thugs to (somehow) on the tea party.

There were other connections to Soros front organizations:

It’s so frustrating........... These people keep shuffling money and people around you can’t keep track of them all.

It’s like trying to keep track of a bunch of cockroaches.

Thanks. I’d like to think I’ve got good instinct when it comes to these revolutionaries.

Though, I just want my freedom to survive the Obama years. That’s all.

So I ask questions that I don’t hear anybody else asking. Based on what I’m seeing others post, SEIU might very well have paid for it all on their own, but still, these people are just so dirty it’s....... frustrating.

And there are very few organizations out there defending us. The citizens. So we have to ask these questions as a shot in the dark and put it together on our own.

Unfortunately it is a case of ‘money talks’. Soros made $15 billion in one deal - betting against the British pound, so how much does he have all together? Enough to buy a lot of media people and a lot of politicians.

It will be next to impossible to know who footed the bill, however, what one can do is look for patterns of connections and at least get an idea of relationships. Even if Soros personally handed him a briefcase of cash to pay for the defense, it wouldn’t overturn anything, nor necessarily be illegal, but, what we can do is look for patterns of corruption and cronyism.

The trial was a complete travesty but I have no clue how you put two and two together and got Soros.

=============McCowan and Molens were represented by high-profile defense attorney Paul D’ Agrosa, whose legal fees, McCowan said, were paid by the union.=============

SEIU did get a bunch of stimulus money, so it's entirely plausable.

Are you suggesting that one was Muslim? Maybe, we need the lost story site to be categorized. I know that tons of muzzy stories are buried or they don’t have the perps name.

It is like the news stories that don’t show pictures of minorities anymore. They only show pics when it isn’t a minority.

Or, stories that have democrat politicians and the authors leave out that they are Democrats.

It sounds like a great project. I wish I had time for it.

The left's only saving grace is that the violent lunatic assassins are leftists. If we had a group of former special forces who decided to exercise extreme social correction, the evil left would scurry back into their holes for a while. Alas, it takes a lot for conservatives to break with societal order and the longer it takes the more violent the correction. I have read a lot about the American Revolution lately. The build up, the Tea Party and wondered if they ever thought about how many of them would loose their lives and fortunes fighting the King. I fear we are stumbling toward the same violent fate if the left doesn't self correct some and cut the freaking spending. They have over reached, but seem too ignorant to realize it.

I would like to see Soros kidnapped, only to re-appear in Thailand or Malaysia. I believe those countries have charges against him that carry the death penalty.
