I worked with a young woman who told me she was both Hindu and Catholic. That prompted a female co-worker to comment "Just like Obama blah blah blah."

I was grateful she provided me with a door out of the conversation.

Actually, Hinduism wouldn't have bit of trouble with this. You can be a Hindu and some other faith with no problem.

Catholicism, OTOH, by definition requires exclusivity.
