Even Marilyn French, in “The Bleeding Heart,” had to acknowledge something. The man in the novel, an executive, finally told the female, a feminist, that she wanted things both ways, and that the work of businessmen paid for the opportunity to have such a philosophy as her ‘liberated’ point of view. There were some stinging words in that book.
