Can you, or anyone.. dig up the clips from Timmy’s nomination/confirmation..when we were told that he was the ONLY person in the whole country smart enough to handle this crisis..and we thus had to give him a “pass” on the pesky income tax stuff..

BHO’s mom worked for Timmy’s father. Why do you think BHO worked so hard to save Timmy’s nominatin in the face of tax cheating? Unlike, Clinton who dropped nominees mired in mud, BHO needed this guy to implement the PROGRAM. Timmy is virtually the only member of the original BHO economic team to remain standing. Here’s what is pissing me off. The R’s say they will not vote for anything that raises taxes and they are called “intransigent” and zealots. Meanwhile, Zero does the exact same thing and says he will not sign anything that is shorter than two years and the R’s are blamed for not sending him what he wants? Both have drawn a line in the sand and the media is blaming the right for both. One thing I learned...if you’re gonna get blamed either way, do what you want. IMHO, they should not approve anything that raises the debt limit and force in instant balanced budget RIGHT NOW.

Like you and everyone else we ALL know he is both. That’s the trouble with being a successful liar, it makes a person stupid. Stupid about everything but the current moment’s lie.
Bill Clinton and Barack are both extremely gifted liars. But their “gifts” are wholly different. Clinton has a incredible memory for the details of his own lies, who he said what to, and what the lies were. Also an intense desire to be liked by all in a room, on a individual level, a glad-hander’s memory for faces and a few live details. Thus he was usually able to keep his lies organized and not conflicting, while coming off as a amiable appealing man wanting you to like him.
Nevertheless his lies kept him ignorant. As a measure of that ignorance I’ll point to Haiti. A great opportunity to employ all the skills and wisdoms his life and mighty career have brought him? But what is the his result there? Zero.
Obama? His gifts, as far as I can see, are (1) A glib tongue. Appealing but empty words that sound very reasonable, sensible and masterful. And (2) an rare single mindedness towards reaching his goal.
While he remains on his goal, that being savior of the narcissistic Obama-world, his words over time are entirely consistent. And in 99% of the rest of his words — glib empty words. So we are left with well under 1% of what he says that is a clear statement of fact or policy, made at the time it is made.
THOSE words, however, being inchoate in anything but the moment they are made, are often at odds. They are all over the place. “Jello” to use the House Speaker’s term.
It is almost certain that Obama has made his post elementary school self into not just an ignorant man, but an incredibly ignorant man. But it is exceeding difficult to reach into that level of Obama, so deep a fog of empty words and behavior patterns has he trapped himself in.
I lost count of Geitner’s contradictory statements— frequently within the same sentence. His hands were visibly shaking.
I vote for both, Alex—And add bed-wetter as a kicker.

I didn’t watch, but I’m skeptical about Boehner. In the end I expect him to fold.
