Anyone who thought they were INVESTING in their future was nuts. Baby Boomers must have been high.

Anyone younger than 50 who thinks he/she will see a dime of SS (other than maybe one of the other uses of SS, such as kids with ADHD who have never put a penny in the system) is crazy.

My retirement planning has SS as a big goose egg. I wish they would just kill the damn thing and be done with it.

The entire post is insulting to those of us who have lived our lives responsibly without relying on the government, and who expect nothing from the government, except to possibly leave us alone.

Maybe you should be directing your ire towards those in Government who voted on these bills and who have taken our country to the brink.

Too, maybe you should have figured out a long time ago that SS has been a Ponzi scheme just as we did over 30 years ago.

I am asking for less government involvement. I am more than ready to walk away from all the money it has stolen frmo me in 30+ years of working. I just want it to stop robbing me.

No because you were dumb. SS should have never come into existence and now should be killed. It should have been killed a generation ago.

You still don’t point to any thing I said that you disagree with.

I think you want your SS $$ and are angry because I am calling for it to be stopped AND pointing out what a DESPICABLE scheme it is.

You WANT the Government in your life. You NEED it.

That is such an insipid response. I ask what you specifically object to and you petulantly say “well, read my post again!”

Your post makes no sense. If you want to say I didn’t comprehend your post (which I didn’t), then it is 51% on me and 51% on you.

I ask again: what SPECIFICALLY do you disagree with me on? At this point I have 3 issues:

1) SS was a dumb idea
2) People who depend on SS are dumb
3) SS should be killed asap (phased out to be fair to the dumb people in 2) ) - we should walk away from the money stolen to date so long as the stealing stops.

There. Now, which of these do you disagree with?

Or you just going to throw another tantrum and refuse to make yourself clear?
