Huffington Post.

I was trolling a thread that was fawning over michelle Obama’s style noting how fat she was, her eating habits, her hypocrisy, her horrible belts, etc.

I got a little carried away to be honest.

“...Obama would have to come up with some reason for stepping aside”

I’m betting he blames his wife/kids. “It’s not me - it’s them.” His arrogance won’t allow him to blame himself. He believes in his own greatness.

". . . but he's already about hit rock bottom on his polling. His core base of support runs about 25%. What's he running now - about 40%? It could only get worse, if he loses even more Independents."

Holy Pooooop! As of today, July 25th, '11....the rasmussen folks have the stain at a -21% Approval Index...and - hope against hope - a "Total Approval Rating below 45%!! That has not happened since back in February of this year!

While it is way too soon to "read the tea leaves", this does indeed offer some hope that the trend line is finally moving in the right direction.

Its not enough.

Once the MSM full bore attack machine brings its big guns and cannons forward to prop him up, its going to bolster his ratings again.

His ratings need to be about 25% for me to have any faith of getting him out of office in 2012.

My problem is I get carried away and push it a little too much. But right now, both places are like volcanic explosions all over the place.

we’re kidding ourselves if we think this attack against Obama will continue by the mainstream “agenda setters” on the left. this is just an effort to provide cover so Obama can appear more “moderate”. They would never really do anything that would adversely effect his chances to destroy country. No matter what happens or even if he professes his desire to end capitalism and replace it with the inevitable socialist economy as laid out by Marx, they will never abandon their man.
It’s “the party, the party, the party, the country be damned, it’s all for the party”.
Obama won’t be able to hide from these people and he won’t get a pass this time. This is what happens when you promise so many different things to so many different groups, eventually they’ll all expect you to live up to your words.

I've been saying the same for the last year. I believe an "Overall Approval" rating that is below 37% - and remains there - will do the trick.

As I said, at least it's moving in the right direction.

The DUmp has come to the conclusion that Obama is worse than the GOP since Bush could never get away with the rape and plunder obama is.

OK, I’ve never won a tough election. But neither has Obama! The 2008 race was looking close until Sarah Palin and Lehman came along.

Gotta dispute that little revision of history.

And the person who nearly even saved the day — and the election — for Republicans was Sarah Palin.

This is not a minority opinion. When Rasmussen conducted detailed exit polling among Republicans, they found that a full 69% of respondents thought Sarah Palin helped — not hurt — McCain. Governor Palin has not garnered the status as America’s most highly regarded, most popular governor for nothing.

She is the only reason I voted for McCain.

I don't think that would fly. The onus would be put on Michelle, who would then be hounded mercilessly by Democrats, to let Barry run.

He'll blame it on something, if he even comes to that point. It will take a lot to convince him to step aside.

I don't think the polls are reflecting reality. I think the real picture looks even worse for Obama's re-election chances, because too many Democrats are giving the politically correct answer to the pollsters.

Gag! I clicked the link without noticing where it pointed!

I read a page or two, and can hardly translate anything the DUmmies are saying into straight English. Honestly. Most of them seem to be incapable of posting a cogent thought.

I was thinking more in terms of a phony disease rather than her wanting more time with him. Who would want more time with him? That wouldn’t be believable! ha!

I was thinking more in terms of a phony disease...

Oh, no doubt about it. The only excuse that would fly with his voters is some sort of debilitating physical condition that makes it impossible for him to stay on the job. Nothing else would be believable.

Only question is, will the senior power players in his party collectively come to the realization that he's about to pull them all over the cliff with him, and that they need to convince him to step aside for the good of the party? Dunno.
