I have actually fired the HK91. It was years ago, but it seemed easy to handle. I don’t remember it hurting, and I am not currently reloading so that is not an issue. Long sumbitch, though. I have been thinking about something more easily handled indoors in a pinch.
The AR-10 keeps coming up. I’ll have to do some more research before plunking down the bux.

One other thing to study is the cost of a good scope.
Most military, and retired military consider
the scope more important than the rifle.

One other thing, the .308 rifle (Weight: 7 lbs 13 oz withOUT scope) is considerably heavier than the AR-16's (Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz withOUT scope).
I'm a 26+ years retired military, a qualified small arms expert with the M-16, and I HATE the .223/M16.
It's designed to wound, not kill, an enemy.
I highly recommend the .308 or 30-06.
