You know, this is off the cuff...so I don't pretend to be defense counsel here....However, I watched that particular episode (don't ask why, I just kind of started watching this program, don't usually watch much tv)...I remember when she said it...kind of tongue in cheek, bittersweet.
I did not get the impression that she was trying to portray herself as a victim of vicious physical child abuse.
Anybody else see the episode?
