On his Monday program, Keith Olbermann offered his Current TV platform to his boss, former Vice President Al Gore, the chairman of the network. According to Gore, both sides of the aisle finally hammering out an agreement on the debt ceiling is a signal that the American system of government is “in real trouble.”
“[I] think this should be a wake-up call for all Americans, Keith – that our system of government itself, is in real trouble,” Gore said. “We have been making, as a country, a whole series of really bad decisions, and we became the greatest country in the world, as we still like to describe our country, by making better decisions than practically any other country in history because we had a high-quality debate among ourselves.”

We have been living off the infrastructure our great grandparents built.
World War 2 helped to mask our deterioration because after it was over we were the only industrial country left with functioning factories to help rebuild the entire world. This postponed our day of socialist recognizing. Meanwhile since he decided after WW2 to spend US taxpayer dollars to protect Europe... they decided they could cut their militaries almost entirely, which also postponed their day of socialist reckoning.
But it's time to pay the piper, and the socialist have finally started to run out of other peoples money, and it's time once again for the poor to get off their butts and help themselves, because socialism has predictably failed.

I get so tired of reading a newspaper about some quadriplegic who just climbed Everest... then I turn the page and have to read about some welfare moron with a “back problem” who can't work... yeah... back problem... right...
Those who are truly disabled seem to have no problems doing countless things even a normal healthy person couldn't do, yet some over weight welfare queen can't get off her ass because her back hurts? cry me a river!
