If you are a California taxpayer you need the marijuana to escape reality. If you think the fitted sheets law is bad you have not seen anything yet. There is a state senator from my city who is pushing legislation to require all new homes to get more than 20% of their electricity from wind and solar. Pass the bong.
With the liberalizing of marijuana laws, more idiots will have pipe dreams of more laws to dictate the operation of a business. Soon, all employees will be required to provide pot smoking lounges at every place of business. Such rooms will be equipped with air purification systems to control second hand pot smoke, a snack bar for the management of munchies, state of the art music systems to enhance the psychodelic experience and, of course, free pot. Work is not an exchange of value but a one-way street where the employee can get as much as they can get at the expence of the employer.
I say to business owners and companies...just tell them to screw off and rebel! They have no right to make demands that hurt businesses. The LA county has demanded that some local stores not use plastic bags any longer, so we are now being charged for paper bags as customers. At what point do people, hard working people just rebel! What are we, a bunch of sheep led to a slow death?
