Perry's College Transcript Leaked provides a Golden Opportunity
self | August 5, 2011 | self

I view this as a golden opportunity for Perry to proudly hold up his transcript and ask the President of the United States to provide his for review by the American people. Insist that it be a certified copy not a "copy"... I think this could be a virtual gold mine in getting the American People to finally pay attention to the obvious...

Look they’ve already forged a birth certificate...and gotten him a phony ss card; do you think it’s any trick to come up with a 4.0 college transcript?

It’s funny how a man as famous as the pResident can have so few people remembering him from the various college years. Especially since he’s not some random average white guy that’s easy to overlook. If I sat next to a mulatto guy that dressed in mom jeans and spoke with a bizarre stilting cadence and kept saying “let me be clear” and “focused like a laser”, I think I’d remember that guy.

His entire life story is fictional so his grade transcripts would be as well.

What a striking contrast between the two of them.

I know I should be used to the liberal hypocrisy out there, but I can't help but to still be annoyed. Rick Perry's college transcripts are a story before he even announces, but Obama continues to get a free ticket on his. It infuriates me.

Anyone that thinks Perry did not know about this beforehand might think again. Perry likely won't be the one pushing this topic at Obama. Where the comparison is made as you infr. It will be interesting to see who does.

Say what you want about Perry (I do, he is a RINO!) but one thing is for sure about him, he can street fight with the Chicago crew. Perry won't be bringing a knife to a gunfight.

Actually, Perry flew C-130s. That pic was put out by his campaign and that's a jet fighter trainer he's standing next to. Some might say that's a little deceptive since you could get the impression that he was a fighter jock. OTOH, the C-130, a four engine turbo-prop, is an impressive aircraft in it's own right.

For years, every C-130 pilot got his/her start in a T-37, then a T-38 — the “fighter jet” pictured above.

All pilot candidates had to be qualified in the T-38, which has a fighter variation called hte F-5. Perry’s pic with the T-38 is a validation that he was an Air Force pilot.

He is a Big Government RINO.

The pre-season is where we FIND the best candidate for Republicans to run.

Not many folks (conservative) in Texas like Rick. He’s like an uncle that nobody likes. He’s part of the family, but we don’t wish him on anybody.

I did not bash Perry. I made no baseless comments about Perry. I made no hate-filled remarks toward Perry whatsoever. I simply stated that I do not support his run for president. In fact, I did exactly what you accused me of not doing: I helped expose obama’s weakness. People will go after Perry's grades and all his supporters have to say is what I posted. If stating that I don't support a certain candidate is considered bashing him, making baseless comments about him, or spewing hate against him, I suggest you find a different discussion forum that doesn't get your panties into so much of a twist.

My father flew C-130s for the 135th MD ANG. I think they are now part of the 175th. That looks like one from the 135th. Where did you get the picture? That’s pretty cool...

He liked them, but always acknowledged that the pilots had the best seats on the plane - depending upon the configuration, they could be pretty uncomfortable for the passengers. I worked with a gentleman who served a year in Vietnam as a USAF technician - they flew a C-130 to Vietnam. Said he still had bruises from that trip.

That photo was obviously taken during the second half of Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT). Until a few years ago, all UPT candidates spent the first half of the program flying T-37s “Tweets,” before moving on the to T-38 Talon during the second part of the program. So Perry logged some hours in that aircraft before he became a Herk driver.

These days, a prospective C-130 pilot would start off in the T-6 Texan II, then move on to a joint, multi-engine turboprop course run by the Navy at NAS Corpus Christi. After that, it’s on to Little Rock for C-130 training. A few Herk pilots arrive at Little Rock after flying the T-1 Jayhawk during the second half of UPT.

And regardless of what you wind up flying, dummies don’t graduate from UPT.

Texas benefited from a good economy and oil.

What did Rick do?

In 2000, the total spending by the Texas state government was approximately $49 billion. Ten years later it was approximately $90 billion. That’s NEARLY DOUBLED the size of government during Perry’s Tenure.

Rick Perry has spearheaded the effort to lease roads in Texas to foreign companies, to turn roads that are already free to drive on into toll roads, and to develop the Trans-Texas Corridor which would be part of the planned NAFTA superhighway system.

Back in 1988, Rick Perry supported Al Gore for president. In fact, Rick Perry actually served as Al Gore’s campaign chairman in the state of Texas that year.

Rick Perry attended the Bilderberg Group meetings in 2007. Associating himself with that organization should be a red flag for all American voters.

Rick Perry actually issued an executive order in 2007 that would have forced almost every single girl in the state of Texas to receive the Gardasil vaccine before entering the sixth grade. Perry would have put parents in a position where they would have had to fill out an application and beg the government not to inject their child with a highly controversial vaccine. Since then, very serious safety issues regarding this vaccine have come to light. Fortunately, lawmakers in Texas blocked what Perry was trying to do. According to Wikipedia, many were troubled when “apparent financial connections between Merck and Perry were reported by news outlets, such as a $6,000 campaign contribution and Merck’s hiring of former Perry Chief of Staff Mike Toomey to handle its Texas lobbying work.”

RINO enough, Big Government enough for you, or do you want to go into his “open border” flip flops?

In 2000, the total spending by the Texas state government was approximately $49 billion.

It's lame argument and intellectually dishonest one. Spending in Texas over TEN years went up because of combination of inflation and population growth in the state primarily.

Learn, love it and live it:

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5589438.html

WASHINGTON — The Texas state government spends less money per resident than any other state in the country, according to a new survey that also ranks Texas as the fourth best-run state in the nation.

Texas spent $3,638 per year for each person in the state, according to the report — less than one-third the amount of top spender Alaska's $12,833.

http://www.boston.com/news/education/higher/articles/2011/01/11/budget_to_put_texan_self_sufficiency_to_the_test/

Texas spends less per resident than any other state.

I should regret that you were offended by something I posted, but for the record, I didn't ridicule his service nor his "heroic sacrifice" nor his "suffering/torture."

I did note that he was good at crashing jets. Check the record. If I'm wrong, please correct me. I'd welcome the correction.

I also noted that he is good at being shot down. You seem to only take note of what happened during the war, but consider that I could also be speaking of more recent history.

For example, obama shot him down. GWB shot him down. Etc.

If that's being way out of line, then so be it. If you're looking for reasons to be offended, you've come to the right place. This is a target rich environment.

Recall McCain!!!
