Just because Rahm is a liberal, doesn’t mean he isn’t shrewd. He knows, and is willing to do, what it takes to keep power. The guy would sell his own mother to win an election. I’m sure his attitude was get the economy going first, then work the healthcare issue with the political clout from the jobs thing. Unfortunately, for all of us, Obama chose to blow everything in the first year regardless of what it would do to the economy.

Rahm is like a dad, he wanted what was best for Obama, and Obama, being an idiot, acted like an immature brat, Rahm, is no good guy, he's a conniving corrupt little weasel, he just wanted Zeros agenda, done a different way.

I do remember reading about him trying to stab Pelosi in the back and his dream of being speaker of the house one day, he's a political animal, zero is a petulant child with no regard for counsel of others.
