Tiger Woods' former caddie helps Adam Scott win

AKRON, Ohio -- Adam Scott hit all the right shots Sunday in a round that was close to flawless and earned him his first World Golf Championship title.

He celebrated with a caddie who has won quite a few more.

Steve Williams, fired last month by Tiger Woods after a 12-year partnership, felt like a bigger winner when Scott rolled in one last birdie for a 5-under 65 and a four-shot victory in the Bridgestone Invitational.

William’s interview after the round was longer than Adam Scott’s. Stevie also seemed to take credit for the win, as if he was the one hitting the shots.

If you are refering to Tiger, I doubt it. Not until he has a spiritual transformation. He’s one messed up guy and until the inside gets fixed, his golf ain’t gonna come back.

As long as the internal mess was hidden, he had no conscience, and was in my mind the best golfer ever. The real TW was hidden, and he lived a lie. An image.

Once the moral vacuum was exposed, he knows he’s naked before the world, and he’ll never get it back together...the mental, moral, spiritual, and physical are all connected. Now he’s trying to fix the externals without addressing the real problem - the internals. Won’t work.

Of course, this is only my opinion.

Williams is coming across as a real whiner. He made millions for 12 years off of Tiger for doing what? Same thing as bellmen at hotels make $20 per hour doing. He needs to STFU soon.

Arnie has a seasonal home and a VERY busy restaurant right here in La Quinta.....the place is busy even during our scorching summers.

On the flipside, Arnie hosed this city by doing a piss-poor design job on the municipal course, which "used to" host the Bob Hope Classic......"used to" because it turned into a flash flood mudhole.

inches from a holeout from the fairway on eighteen...damn near an eagle 2 on the eighteenth...beautiful 6 iron..missed by maybe, two inches...perfect speed..it would have gone in the cup..
