Am in DC tonight with old network friends and fiends.
The word in DC is that John Kerry is working the media HARD to try to get himself back in headlines.
Kerry still wants very much to be Prez. He is promoting the idea that, politically, Obama is a "dead man walking."
Kerry claims he can save the Dem party by running in the primaries to the LEFT of Obama.... and be elected in both the primaries and the general!
Idiocy... and old political news hands agree!
Country in terrible fiscal shape. Economy in the dumps with rising inflation. 9% unemployment. Regulators gone wild.
And now the Democratic Senator from Massachusetts is going to challenge a very liberal Democratic President from the left.

John, the best thing you could do for America is to run on a third party ticket. America will welcome you with open arms.

It’s pretty clear Biden won’t be around for the next campaign.
That's some pretty thin track there, friend. I doubt there's more than a half-ray of daylight between Obama's left shoulder and the inside wall. Kerry's going to need to grease up and come in fast to squeeze through that spot.
Any white guy who thinks he’s going to get the Dem nomination is delusional.
The Rats are between a Barack and a hard place.
I am not sure that Kerry would be the go-to guy, but I think the Dems will force Obama not to run (LBJ), if the economic numbers are still as bad by late 2011/early 2012.
Dems already lost the House and will possibly lose the Senate in 2012. They won’t hang on to Obama just to be nice, if his leaderlessness continues.
