Jackie Onassis believed that Lyndon B Johnson and a cabal of Texas tycoons were involved in the assassination of her husband John F Kennedy, ‘explosive’ recordings are set to reveal.

The secret tapes will show that the former first lady felt that her husband’s successor was at the heart of the plot to murder him.

She became convinced that the then vice president, along with businessmen in the South, had orchestrated the Dallas shooting, with gunman Lee Harvey Oswald – long claimed to have been a lone assassin – merely part of a much larger conspiracy.

Texas-born Mr Johnson, who served as the state’s governor and senator, completed Mr Kennedy’s term and went on to be elected president in his own right.

The tapes were recorded with leading historian Arthur Schlesinger Jnr within months of the assassination on November 22, 1963, and had been sealed in a vault at the Kennedy Library in Boston.

I always thought Oswald was framed. He coukd have equiped himself with a much better weapon. And if you wrote a novel in which you had the villin equiped with a Carcano rife the publisher would have said change the weapon, no one will believe that. Also a magizine published photos several years later which showed people pointing to the grassy knoll and police running towards it.

The only thing I am still trying to resolve in my mind about how this assassination went down pertains to the gun and the timing of the shots. I heard a ex-military ballistics expert claim that there is absolutely no way in hell that the best marksmen in the world could re-load and aim that gun in the amount of time between shots. According to this fellow, it is a physical impossibility. I cannot remember the exact number of seconds he said it took vs. the time between shots.

That's something I would like to hear explained to me. I'm no expert so I'm sure someone out there can explain it better.

Hell, yes! You're talking about a "man" who couldn't take responsibility for what obviously happened at Chappaquiddick. Edward Moore Kennedy was a coward. He wasn't going to take on the assassins...he was terrified for his own life from 1968 forward.

Bugliosi in the inside cover says he covers ALL OF THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES and debunks every one of them. Unfortunately for him, he is going to look like a total fool when he finds out he may have covered all the theories but he did NOT cover what actually happened during the shooting.

Bugliosi spent over 20 years researching for his book. He became interested when he and Gerry Spence prosecuted/represented Oswald in a mock London trial in the 1980’s. Bugliosi “won” and Spence says only Bugliosi could have pulled it off. What the trial showed is that lawyers should not work on technolical issues because history will show virtually every one of these self proclaimed legaleze geniuses has actually proved himself to be a bumbling idiot.

You apparently haven’t read my book yet. It shows there is a simple way to solve the mystery. Once you know the truth, and now YOU don’t even have a clue, you will see this is a lie that even a child should have seen through. Over 80% of Americans do NOT believe the Warren Commission’s single bullet-lone gunman scenario. According to Bugliosi, one poll showed approx. 20% of Americans think it was LBJ. Of course it was LBJ. No one could have forged, lied, faked, killed etc. like LBJ.

But J Edgar Hoover was the man behind the lie. Hoover knew how easy it would be to fool America. The little queer pervert had been doing it for decades.

This video proves NOTHING but it is another nail in LBJ’s coffin. RFK clearly says LBJ is a viscious animal. I know you think (probably) the photographer was lying and LBJ’s Mistress is just spreading lies to get publicity.

Americans have to wake up and quit believing the fairy tale lies the US Government tells. Truth starts will realizing that the US Press thinks their job is to simply report what the US Government tells them.

Yes I’ve read and laughed at Vince Bugliosi’s RECLAIMING. He is an excellent researcher who I admire for that but I laugh at his analytical abilities. This clown brags during one of his lectures he can’t even use a digital camera and he says the legal notebook is his path to truth.

Bugliosi will one day realize just how big of a fool he is but he will not be alone.

Some say that the JFK assassination “spooked the heck out of Nixon” which is why he got into the habit of recording his phone calls and slowly became so paranoid that he did himself in with Watergate.

Nixon was in Dallas flying out when JFK was landing. According to LBJ's mistress, Nixon was at the party attended by LBJ, Hoover, Merchason etc. When LBJ came out, he told Brown that "those SOB Kennedy's will never embarrass me again, that's no threat, that's a promise." That doesn't prove anything but it sure leads me to believe that Nixon had prior knowledge.

Nixon in one of his tapes during Watergate said the Warren Commission was one of the biggest scams in history which also leads me to beleive Nixon knew the truth.

Nixon of course did NOT have prior knowledge of Watergate, he was brought down with his cover up. WHY did he think he could get away with it? IMHO, it was because he knew the truth about JFK's coup (LBJ and J Edgar were at the top) and he felt he could tell the press any old lie and get away with it.

Right now we have a little clown lying about GUNWALKER. He is arrogant just like Nixon was. Want to impeach Obama? Put pressure on to get him on running guns into Mexico and then forcing people to lie about it. Issa gets it but he doesn't have the ammo yet to get Obama.

Understand what happened in the JFK assassination and you too can understand American History for the last 50 years. Right now, you and millions of other Americans don't have a clue.

Conspiracy theories are just that.. theories. The only physical evidence that ever existed was that which pointed to Oswald.

And your contention that a high percentage of Americans don’t support the conclusions of the Warren Commission... More than 70% supported Obama in January 2009... until they learned the truth. Unfortunately, American popular culture is rife with conspiracy theories on a lot of different fronts, e.g., the “fake” moon landings. Are you of the mindset those were all part of the “big lie?”

I don’t deny that governments lie to their people. What I deny is that this supposed conspiracy involving many different players from varied sectors somehow pulled this assassination off without prior detection on 22 Nov 1963. And not a single one of the participants ever divulged even so much as a deathbed confession. Not a one.

Don’t get me wrong, though.. conspiracy theories are exciting and fun... and I think a part of that is the fact those pursuing such theories feel they somehow can be the one who breaks it all open. Of course, they’re fascinating... because the finality of truth is so... final.
