Five Reasons Why I Believe Texas Governor Rick Perry Will Be Our President In 2013
FoxNews ^ | 6/24/2011 | Kevin McCullough

Posted on 08/12/2011 8:00:01 PM PDT by Signalman

Current Texas Governor Rick Perry will, in all likelihood, be president of the United States in January of 2013.

Having already made that bold statement in the electronic media during appearances on Fox News and on the nationally syndicated Mancow Radio Experience, now it's time for to put down in "print" why I believe Perry will be our next president.

I did the same thing in December 2006. I was the first political commentator to predict that Barack Obama would be the next president, and I said that would be especially true if John McCain were his opponent.

The story of how my prediction turned into our nation's current nightmare is documented in my new best selling book, "No He Can't: How Barack Obama is Dismantling Hope and Change."

So far, the 2012 GOP presidential field has felt odd and disjointed to me, especially since former Arkansas and Alaska Governors Huckabee and Palin were long in making their up their minds about whether to get into the presidential race.

Well when he gets three years of vetting by the media - and is still standing spotless, I think some praise would be in order.

If Palin isn’t the nominee, chances are good I’ll vote 3rd party.

And then people wonder how a Marxist can get elected President of the United States.

It is more likely, to balance the ticket that a ‘moderate’ (aka RINO) will be chosen as a running mate for Perry.

How about a Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin ticket? Unbeatable?

Yes. That would be correct.

With Palin on the ticket, Obama would be unbeatable.

First of all, I’m not impressed with your little “insert”.

Now, I’ve voted almost straight GOP since I cast my first vote for the Honorable Mr. Reagan. Since Reagan left, I can’t name a single useful thing the GOP has done for the Conservative cause.

Does that mean I spend the rest of my life voting for them, hoping and dreaming of the day when they decide to do the right thing?

I didn’t leave the GOP, they left me...

I would say voting for the same kind of people every election, getting the same results, or lack thereof, and being shocked when it happens, is more idiotic than trying to change things.

Using your cute little bumper sticker might make you feel superior, but it doesn’t make you right.

I agree with you about Dole, and McCain. The GOP has become increasingly clueless over the years for whatever reason. They have been “democrat-lite” and that’s not a good thing.

I’ve been trying to think how we can survive as a country, and unless Palin, or another REAL Conservative wins, along with a buttload of Tea Party candidates, I think things will go badly for our country.

We have become so addicted to things that other people (or China) pays for, that it will be almost impossible to return to sanity. Everyone is fine with cutting back on entitlements as long as they arent their entitlements, and that just won’t work any longer.

I hope I’m wrong...

Time will tell. However, IMHO it is a mistake to think ABO is the answer.

I look at our candidates as I would an onion, it’s all about peeling back the layers and getting to their core.

Some of the layers of Governor Cristy have been peeled away and we are nowhere near his core. What has been revealed, so far, are not good. The bigger the onion, the chances are the core is bad.

We just haven’t taken enough time peeling back the layers of our choices in candidates yet. In the past, we have let the media into our field to pick the ‘onions’ and we have ended up with the likes of John McCain.

This can not happen again.

Thanks to propaganda media machine of the left, there is ONLY ONE whose layers have been completely removed to the core and found to be a ‘Pearl Onion’, one to use in a Martini toast to victory in 2012.

Naming that person SHOULD NOT be necessary.

Sorry. A Fox poll doesn’t matter one whit to me or anyone with a brain. Perry or Palin? That’s about the easiest decision I’ve ever had to make. Fraud or Patriot.

Well, I certainly won't disagree with that!

But actually, Obama and the Democrats haven't been nearly as bad as I expected them to be. That shows how bad my expectations were.

So, I suppose one way to characterize the race would be Governor #1 against Governor #49 with Governor #2 probably fixing to run.
