Agreed. Another interesting case is the murder of William Desmond Taylor, noted silent film director, on February 1, 1922. Lots of suspects but never solved. Politicians, movie stars, Los Angeles Police Department incompetence it is all there! The case has achieved near cult status.

Yes, you read that right. 86% of homicides (not murders, homicides which includes police shootings and self defense shootings) in Chicago remain unresolved.
