This candidate will s*ck on immigration but will do other pleasing things to keep the voters intrigued. It will merely depend on how voters feel about the issue. Are voters at the break point or not?

What’s the point in being a non-marxist if you’re open borders. No sovereignty for the U.S. is not very patriotic, in my opinion. Or am I wrong?

No candidate is going to be the PERFECT candidate for everybody. We have to pick the one who is closest to our views.
I do not know enough about Perry, but for me his social views are not my number one concern. My concerns are his fiscal and national security views. I could accept any candidate running with an R behind their name who has a CHANCE of winning the primary. (I say that because cut and run has no chance). Some may be better than others, but none are perfect, just better than others. Any are better than the king.

Perry is pro-latino. Not so bad as far as I am concerned. We need more immigration to absorb our excessive. We need to bring in quality immigrants who can help us out of our funk, as immigration has always done. US should not encourage poor uneducated latinos, but should attract the best and brightest from around the world.

This voter cannot choke down another open borders nominee. Perry will either have to do a mea culpa in which he unequivocatingly renounces his former views on immigration issues or I will not vote for him. Immigration is killing us as much as deficit spending (and immigration is tied into that issue).
