I love the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett. I never got “fruity”... I would describe his character as “proper British” and “sometimes intellectually cold”. I thought the series was true to the story line. I guess it is a guilty pleasure. I also enjoyed the “Brother Cadfael” series as well. Another “who-dunnit” type series.

Cadfael was pretty good, too. Derek Jacobi is quality. Sherlock’s a little fruity. I mean, no girlfriends? And what’s up with Dr. Watson. He admires the babes, but never goes for it. Just sayin’.

In the new interpretation on PBS Holmes is accused of being a psychopath by one of the Police Detectives.

Holmes quips “I am a high functioning sociopath, do your research !”.

One of the best lines in an outstanding adaptation. The cab ride with Watson and Holmes in the first episode was a joy to watch.

“That, was, ,,amazing”.

If you are a Holmes fan I strongly urge you to check it out in Netflix.

Cheers,
