imho ... I have seen those paying for the goodies request spending be cut. Of course, nothing happened. No departments were eliminated, no revision of the tax system took place, no federal employees lost their jobs, everything continued at an unsustainable pace for decades. Maybe is too late to stop the inevitable. I do not know, but I have not been at ease for decades. My belief is ... Time is not something which should have been postponed in our past by doing what was necessary. Is it too late? I pray that it isn’t too late and pray God is there to help us, all of us who have been praying for peace.

Same here. My point, is the fear of unrest from OTHERS who aren't paying for the goodies is increasingly coming from the payers. Doesn't mean they don't want the spending cut, they fear what others might do if they are without those "goodies". It's a legitimate fear.
