PHILADELPHIA - It seems the Eagles aren't the only team in town ready for some NFL action. The lawyers of Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman and Smalley have taken on the National Football League in federal court.

Failed what? For those of us not going to the story.
No way! You mean that getting repeatedly hit on the head by a 300lb. linebacker carries a risk of concussions? And repeated concussions are BAD for your brain? Couldn’t see that one coming. Next thing they’re going to tell us is that inhaling smoke into your lungs over extended periods of time is not good for you. Or drinking a twelve pack of beer per night might carry some risk to your health. Damn the NFL for keeping these things secret.
That is why they get paid well to play - they are crash test dummies. When we pay soldiers, firemen and police officers $450K (minimum) a year, I’ll think about caring that the players risk injury to play a game.

Doesn’t matter, though, a good Jewish law firm will make the whole deal sound like slavery pre-1850.
If I recall correctly, NFL players don’t HAVE to play football, they try out - many are paid just to practice and sit on the bench. They work half the year and are paid well above what most hardworking Americans make, then decide years later they want to sue because the job was dangerous. Can we sue because idiots voted for idiots who put idiots into positions on our courts, which will probably decide these guys deserve a piece of the money the owners risked and made?
