Jenson Button has praised Mercedes' driver Michael Schumacher as he prepares to celebrate his 20th anniversary in the sport at this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix and the McLaren driver has not ruled out the prospect of equalling the German's feat himself.

Ferrari, the team Schumacher won five of his seven world championships with between 2000 and 2004, say they have a surprise in store for their former charge at Spa to celebrate his anniversary. "We have prepared a little something to mark this occasion," said team boss Stefano Domenicali cryptically.

Reflecting on his first time in a F1 car, when he tested a Jordan at Silverstone three days before competing in practice at Spa, Schumacher admits to initial doubts about his ability. "On the first lap, I thought to myself: 'Maybe you've bitten off more than you can chew.' But on the second lap, I was more relaxed. By the third, I had forgotten my doubts and felt comfortable in the car."

Scot Paul di Resta is determined to prove his seventh place finish in Hungary was not a one-off. After a run of eight races without a point, the Force India driver produced his best drive of the season in Budapest and following the summer break, Di Resta believes the car has the pace to to replicate that performance at Spa.

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has backed the decision to ban the use of the DRS overtaking device through Eau Rouge at this weekend's race. On Monday, FIA race director Charlie Whiting deemed the device too dangerous to use through the famous high speed corner in practice and qualifying.
