A note for future prospective ESPN employees: You can only cheerlead Obama at ESPN. Im not joking.
Case in point: The networks golf analyst, 12-time PGA Tour winner Paul Azinger hit out at the Presidents amount of golf games on Twitter:

I hope Zinger keeps up the good work.
So... what did he say? Excerpting that part might have been a bit better.
THey bowed a while back when Limbaugh tried to acquire a stake or something
I knew there was a reason I’ve always liked Azinger. He was also a great Ryder Cup captain.
What happens when politics and entertainment mix?
A Dixie Chicks boycott.
Not good for business.
I never watch this ESPN. Does it have anything interesting on it?
I would conclude that you are brainwashed by the liberal left if you believe what you say you do.
Most unfortunate to follow the liberal marxist way.
In many instances, I would say you have a point, but Azinger only appears on golf telecasts. I saw a survey a few years ago where the PGA Tour has the highest percentage of it’s audience that votes Republican of any sport. Apparently Obama is one of the few Democrats who pays attention to golf.
So (ESPN’S owner) Disney gave nearly a quarter million dollars to the Obama campaign?!
Uncle Walt must be rolling in his grave...
Huh? Good business practices have nothing to do with being “brainwashed by the liberal left”.
You don’t risk a business relationship with your clients/customers by permitting your employees on the clock to publically pick sides in political subjects. If you do, you’ll lose customers and therefore lose income, not to mention lose the respect of the community where you do business.
You really should start reading the articles.
The point here is that the policy appears to be applied exclusively to anti Obama material. The numerous pro Obama material cited in the article, as well as the anti Palin and anti republican material, was allowed without comment.
I’m not defending the Kenyan bastard, but President Eisenhower was out on the golf course about 800-900 times (depending on the article read) during his two terms. No wonder he was such a colorless individual. He was never in the WH.
You folks can google “President Eisenhower *golf*”. Right now I’m feeding my kitty cats to get them ready for bed and then I’m hitting the sack myself.
I’m not being dismissive with you great folks. I’m just tired.
Be ready to be surprised.
Good night.
In Jakarta, it is the only channel on which I can see Major League Baseball (at 06h00 LT).
How was the U.S. economy under Eisenhower?
I'll take "colorless" and competent any day.
Except, he was not “on the clock,” but on Twitter.
Time to switch over to Versus.
Golf is full of individuals...they will always threaten the collective.
