Mine with 3g does this as well.... Not as good as a ipad but works very well.... 188$ version has the 3G browser. Not sure of other generations of the kindle.

When? We have been using a Kindle for a nice, portable, full throttle total IPAD equivalent "thing" for weeks.

Did you know you can hack these things? If you have an outdoor job and have a little time for reading at lunch you might want to look into Kindle. They depend on ambient light (since they use e-ink) and that makes them very useful outside in daylight.
