If I could please interrupt this great thread, I was just curious if anyone’s dogs here like spicy food, ie semi-hot bbq. Because my mastiff loves the stuff. Hot jerky, stuff like that.
My Lab-Chesapeake mix loves to share hot pepper cheese.
LOL...My old Shepherd Timber loved spicy salsa and jalapeno peppers. When he smelled them he would start drooling...actually blowing spit bubbles out from his flews. But he’d eat ‘em!

One of my cats will lick wing sauce off wings. It’s not the hottest stuff I’ve ever tasted, but it does have a reasonable kick.
I think he’d steal an entire wing if I’d let him, but chicken bones are one of the very few things I’m 100% strict on, much to his dismay.
