Rain would be nice there, but I think this one will head north and then east long before it approaches land.

We are way behind on rainfall this year I think, we could use a couple of rainmakers. Just spread them apart a bit.

1. A TROPICAL WAVE OVER THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA IS ACCOMPANIED
BY DISORGANIZED CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS. THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE GENERALLY WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH ACROSS THE YUCATAN
PENINSULA DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO...AND HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO IN A FEW DAYS. THIS
SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...10 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL
CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
10 percent chance of forming a cyclone in 48 hours. Now I see what you are looking at I think.

Weather models are mixed - some predicting a hurricane, others predicting a tropical wave that will drop all it's water over water and leave Texas dry... I'd keep an eye on the weather as the weekend approaches, but I don't know if we're really looking at a named storm or just wishcasting by the weather models.

I will believe it when I see it in my rain gauge. As soon as I dump out all of the dust and dead bugs so it will be accurate.

Will Bam Bam man Fema central command for the Texas tropical storm like he did for his friends across the aisle in PA, NY and NJ?
Will he steal money from their Irene disaster to cover the Texas tropical storm “disaster”? Are we Holder’s people?/s/

Still very disorganized, still 60% chance of development. The spaghetti models look like something my cat coughed up:
