A few years back in St. Louis, a woman driving home late from work had a rock thrown through her windshield (thrown off an overpass), and it killed her. I think she was 23 or 24, and was the mother of a very young child.
Same thing happened in Douglas County Georgia back in the early 90’s.
They convicted the little twerp and when everyone thought he was still in prison he gets arrested again for pointing a gun at someone!
I remember reading of a case some years ago in San Diego, near where this incident happened, of someone driving on I-805 at 2 a.m. when someone threw a large rock from an overpass which went through his windshield—the driver survived but his wife sitting on the passenger side was killed.
A woman was killed near the DC area, as well, some years ago when a rock was dropped onto her car from an overpass.
Yep, I remember right there by Forest Park.
As far as the crossbow, that’s not what I would have resorted to. It’s still an assault first degree and not worth a lifetime of prison over.
Having said that, I would relish the look on the kids face when I pulled the badge and bracelets out.
