Honestly, what did anyone expect to happen? Couldn’t they have chosen any other prize? Stupid.

Just like they tried with the Bushmaster rifle used by the Beltway Sniper.

If this is true, which I doubt, it’s incredibly dumb and worthy of firing that entire county’s GOP leadershop.
Seems more like a prank to me, though. How would New York Magazine get the scoop on this?

A 100th Anniversary 1911 would have been a lot better.

Wish there had been a few somebodies there with this gun to shoot Loughner down.

That’d be a piece of morbid memorabilia. Assuming it was the actual murder weapon and not just one like it.

I’m talking about the brand name not the actual rifle used by the sniper.

You're not an Arizonan, are you?
This state is about as "red" as you're going to find, and the Second Amendment means something here.
I just can't imagine a mindset that thinks the legal raffling of a firearm would be "dumb."
I take that back: I can. That mindset would be an elitist liberal mindset.
You must be trapped in a liberal enclave.
For God's sake: GET THE HECK OUT!

Honestly, I have no problem with it
Here is my comment:
“The County GOP is giving away the “Loughner” stopper, the gun that would have been the perfect gun to put a stop to his deadly rampage. They are giving it to someone that is mentally sane and will likely use it to save their own or someone else’s life. “Loughner” shouldn’t have even been on the street, he should have been in a mental hospital.”

Do you have to be from AZ to enter?
Never mind, I’ll see about just making a donation.

What is so dumb about this fund-raising event. Did we stop selling airplane tickets after 9/11?
A nut shot Gabby Giffords and others in the parking lot. Too bad more people in the crowd didn’t have weapons to stop Laughner.
BTW. Tickets will be sold out tomorrow before noon.
To: Carling
Do you really give a desiccated rat dropping what
New York Magazine "thinks"?
Time to double down on all these memes the left likes to tar us with-- most of which are actually positives in the first place.
And when they ask why, say "because F##k you, that's why."
