I checked out your profile page (which is fantastic, BTW) and I have a question regarding your drip system in your garden. It says you drilled 1/16 holes in PVC. How do you control the water flow? I tried a similar system on a 100ft hose, and water flies everywhere unless I use drippers and 1/4in tubing. Do you have some sort of pressure reducer on your system? After having used it, do you see a downside to the system?
Cheers- S

I do not have a pressure reducer on the system. I just barely turn the water on to regulate the flow. This is my third year to use the system. I have liked it. My garden has a slope from the back to the front with about a 10 inch difference in height, which makes it hard to control the water flow to the low side. I am planning to use a commercial drip system with emitters next year - if it does not cost me to much.
