Maternal Instinct is a Scary Powerful thing.
I wonder if in situations like this Women don’t give off a pheromone that the bear can smell (Bears have better smell senses than bloodhounds) that tell the bear, “I am protecting my cubs from you, leave now or face consequencdes!”.

Wouldn’t it? But rewriting titles is at the upper limit of some editors’ abilities. It makes them feel smart and powerful. Bless their little hearts...

I find high powered firearms work better.
Very stuip and very lucky. The people I know that live in Ak keep a firearm loaded and close to the door for this very thing.
AK as a law protecting life and property if she would have shot and killed this bear she would have been just fine.
