Yes, that was my impression too. Some of what Cher did after her divorce from Sonny was disgusting and all was without talent. I recall seeing a video of her on a naval ship, with her son Elijah (sp?) who was quite young at the time. She was dressed in a sheer costume which among other things, revealed most of her backside, with a bunch of men leering at her. What kind of a mother does that?

Well, actually she had a really good film career going there for a while - “Mask,” a really lovely film in which she played a good, if unorthodox mother, and, of course, “Moonstruck,” a classic. But she entered films too late and by the time she won the Oscar, she was getting too old for Hollywood. So she went back to what she does worst - singing and dancing.

But I can never get it through my brain why these huge stars do not educate their children properly. If I had their money, my kids would have gone to the very best schools money could offer. But, time and time again, the children of Hollywood’s top stars barely make it out of the local high school...
