Winner: Newt. He’ll probably win every one but he’s damaged goods.

Cain: 2nd place. Did amazingly well considering how little time he had.

Perry: Stood his ground. Don’t agree with everything he said but he said it straight out.

Bachmann: Got screwed like Cain did getting ignored. Too uptight but her last exchange was her best. Pulls up news and facts the others don’t.

Romney: Had some good stuff tonite. Still won’t vote for him though because I know his record.

Santorum: Sounds like a Senator, not a Presidential candidate.

Paul: Nuts.

Huntsman: Ain’t voting for Eddie Hascal, no how, no way.

Ultimate winner: Sarah Palin.

Funny - you and I got very similar reads. Only thing I left out which really surprised me was compared to the polling and hoopla past few weeks about Perry, and even though it was a bloodsport against him tonight - he seemed a little too shakey a number of times. Won’t forgive him for the H/T to Zero. Idiot stuff.

Finally, someone I agree with on the candidates. Newt had what? 5 questions? was the panel afraid of him? he would rip Obama to shreds in a debate and Newt knows how to get around the panel. Cain was articulate but not given much time. Bachmann still had 3 more questions than Cain. As for the Texas school drop out rate..I attribute a lot of that to the illegals...as for Romney’s record in Mass...would be tough to be a conservative governor in Kennedy land.
