I agree. I believe his answers to all the questions were on target. I truly believe that Newt is probably the smartest of that group and he has a great facility of speech and presentation of his ideas. Will I vote for him? I don’t know.

I also liked the fact that he took Brian Williams and the media to task ahead of time about their perhaps wanting to make the event a “Republican Candidate Slugfest.” That was a good display of unity against The One and his lap-dog media.

I thot Newt did a great job...I was surprised. How far he goes in the process remains to be seen, however, he refocused the debate and really called out the “moderators” for their ulterior agenda and gave them a major smackdown...Tho I have not been a big Newt fan, he articulated what I was thinking~which was that the “moderators” were just shilling for the dems to get sound-bites for anti-GOP propaganda...
