In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

e·pis·to·lar·y /[ih-pis-tl-er-ee] adjective
1. contained in or carried on by letters: an epistolary friendship.
2. of, pertaining to, or consisting of letters.

Example sentence:
First came his romantic epistolary novel, La Nouvelle Heloise, ou Lettres de deux amans, also entitled Julie, which he had begun in 1757.
--- Dave Edmonds, John Eidinow, Rousseau's Dog, 2006

Etymology:
1650–60; Latin epistolāris of, belonging to a letter

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Wonder if he is still hitting Reply All? That’s what you get for hitting that button and filling everyone’s mailbox. Can you guess one of my pet peeves?

Because he's the media's candidate.

I really wish that Charlie Crist's little brother would just go home already.

i have come to like her more than i used to, but she was particularly giggly and juvenile yesterday for some reason. That show is such a trainwreck, how long will they let it go on?

Until they pay off Beckel’s lunch tabs? She can be very sensible but her voice is nasal and a little grating. Plus she dances a little too much.

All that show needs is a pool table. Or foosball.

His record as a governor is fair game. It’s as much of a state as any other. Now with that said, that he was to the left of his own legislature is something that should be brought up if the pissant ever polls over 5 or 10%

If you can’t trust someone to be conservative in Utah, you can’t trust them anywhere.

I agree.

His campaign is just yet another example of a sleazy campaign manager milking money out of a hapless and rich politico suffering from delusions of adequacy.

Happens all the time.

Unlike some here, I am watching The Five for one reason only.....the day Bob Beckle’s head explodes! That will be my favorite TV day ever (except for that glorious day when Green Bay beat the stillers in the Super Bowl)

Honestly, I usually sleep through it. It’s only on the tube because I don’t turn it off after Cavuto. Please have good weather next week and get some rain this weekend. I’m coming back to your area and it will make things even worse if I have to drive around in the rain.

Fat chance of rain here - I wish but I’ve just about given up hope. We have a lake in our neighborhood and a short end east of the bridge is completely dry. It hasn’t been dry in all the years we have lived here but you can see the cracked dry bottom. Even in the winter we have green grass along the highway....now completely dead and brown if not black from small fires. Unreal.
