George W Bush coin toss at Jets-Cowboys game (vanity)
Me

Posted on 09/12/2011 5:49:57 AM PDT by God luvs America

So i'm at the game last night- starting my 31st consecutive season attending every Jets home game- and in the middle of the ceremonies they announce, "here for the coin flip, the 43rd POTUS, George" i jump out of my seat and begin yelling "yeh W!!! yeh W!!!" (sadly i must've looked like my 8YO daughter at a Justin Bieber concert)...I heard a large roar from most of the stadium- a few boos, though that's when he was talking to Romo...even later, in the 2nd half when they showed the clips, one of GWB walking to midfield there was applause...

The smirk he had on his face when the coin toss went to the Cowboys was classic GWB.

As an Eagles fan, I have to say the game had a most favorable ending.

It sounded like he received a very warm reception! I heard loud applause, whistles, and shouts from the fans.

It was nice to see and hear that. And it was a good game on top of it. :^)

Romo reminded me of obammma last night. So much hype and yet when it really counted, he dropped the ball. Best part of the game was the coin flip by George W. Bush( who made my eyes fill up again) and the great T.D. by Austin.

Loved the coin toss!

I think Dallas should get rid of Romo. I said two years ago that he's just not a leader. He proved it again last night. Who will he blame this loss on? He's not dating Jessica Simpson now, so he can't blame her anymore!

For an Eagles fan there were several good outcomes yesterday. The Eagles won, Kolb threw for over 300 yards for Arizona, Dallas lost and McNabb threw for a whopping 39 yards in the Viking’s loss. E-A-G-L-E-S !!!!!!!!!!!!

Cowboys vs. Jets Video: Watch Former President George W. Bush's Coin Toss. It's not the greatest, the audio isn't very good and they cut it off short, but you can hear the cheering as he and Laura walk up to the center of the field.

Sorry. I know how you feel—I bleed purple, and my team just couldn’t get it together the second half of their game. Grrrr. ;^)
