Agree. All just speculation at this point.
But, with statements like this:
“If Sarah Palin had run a conventional campaign and declared two years before the election, the GOP ruling class would have taken her out by now...”
Is this not a tacit admission that Palin can’t take the heat and criticism? That she won’t be able to weather the inevitable storm aimed at a candidate for POTUS? Hasn’t “taking the heat” been something of a problem for her in the past? Whether you see or believe it yourself, it is a very real and obvious problem for many out there who may share her ideals but worry about her stick-to-it-ivism.
Palin is targeted like no other. Sure, they snipe at Perry or Bachmann. But for Palin, it’s a whole different ball game.
This is why her path must be unconventional, in my opinion.
As for your criticism, think of it this way: if she announces in the next few weeks, it will demonstrate the exact opposite of what you suggest.
No, just a tacit admission on your part that you are a Perrysite troll and disruptor.
Let me know when Perry has national-level talk show hosts and late-night comedy shows joking in public as part of the act before a live camera, on the air, about incest in his family, or his underage daughters getting pregnant by a statutory rape by a professional athlete in between innings of a baseball game.
I didn't Mr. Swaggering he-man Perry defending her: he was sucking his thumb under the dining room table hoping the press wouldn't notice him as well.
Nor for that matter did I see a single comment from you defending her.
Cheers!
